Student Startup Seed Fund Award

The Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, Department of Higher Education, provides financial assistance of ₹75,000 to each selected business idea under its “Student Startup Seed Fund Award” initiative.

This initiative organizes a state-level competition focusing on innovative business ideas. Students are invited to submit their ideas online, which undergo a rigorous screening and evaluation process. This process involves refining the business ideas into a standardized presentation format and delivering hybrid-mode presentations to a panel of experts. The evaluation criteria include (i) Novelty of the Idea (Innovation) (ii) Market Potential (iii) Scalability (iv)Team and Talent (iv)Business Model etc. This comprehensive approach aims to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs, foster startup creation, and attract investors to support these ventures.
